Mustard plasters are a unique folk remedy in modern design. They are based on the natural plant product – mustard. The action of mustard plaster is based on the effect of hyperemia (irritation of skin receptors and blood fluxion to the place of mustard plaster application). Mustard plasters are indispensable in case of cold-related diseases . They are used as a derivant causing blood redistribution in case of hypertensic crisis, neuralgia, headache, muscle and joint pain. Mustard plaster is a pack made of heat-sealable waterproof paper on one side and thin porous paper on the other. It is divided by junctures into 4 cells evenly filled with mustard mixture.
